YOUTH RESOURCES
Here are some resources you may want to access if you are look for assistance with housing, health & wellness, employment, and more.

Runaway Prevention | 1-800-RUNAWAY
The National Runaway Switchboard, our national partner, is available 24 hours a day and accepts calls on behalf of the California Youth Crisis Line when we are unable to answer them. Additionally, NRS offers Let’s Talk: Runaway Prevention Curriculum (available in English and Spanish, free to schools and community organizations) and a comprehensive service learning opportunity where participants engage in a service learning project regarding runaway and homeless youth by combining class-room learning and real-world application. Let’s Talk: Runaway Prevention Curriculum can guide the academic component. The civic engagement component can be fulfilled by utilizing NRS’ Street Team. Please contact the Prevention Specialist at prevention@1800RUNAWAY.org or (773) 289-1723 for more information and a project sample.
